Enari Gallery is thrilled to announce its debut in Contemporary Art Now with a selection of works by represented artist Johanna Bath (DE, b. 1980) and exhibited artists Sophie Vallance Cantor (UK, b. 1993), Filippo A.L. Cegani (IT, b. 1993), Grace Lee (UK, b. 1995), and Tom Solty (DE, b. 1992).
Bath’s sensual and delicately portrayed quiet segments of life contrast sharply with Solty’s dynamic and fast-paced scenarios, where light and reflections often take centre stage. Vallance Cantor welcomes viewers into her private world, where domestic cats transform into wild beasts, and characters gaze boldly at the audience, creating an engaging experience. Cegani’s work, on the other hand, offers a unique reinterpretation of digitalized Christian iconography, characterised by his distinctive plasticky finish. Lee’s whimsical and mysterious paintings do not adhere to a single theme. They often appear obscure and invite viewers to explore their layers of meaning.
