Enari will make its debut at the third edition of the Art Island art fair with Douglas Cantor's short film EL DIABLO AND THE PAINTER as a prelude to Amsterdam Art Week.
EL DIABLO AND THE PAINTER is a short film that tells the story of the artist couple Douglas Cantor and Sophie Vallance Cantor through the characters they have created for each other.
Written and directed by Cantor, the film takes shape through his poetry and visuals which echo both artist's practices and share their real life's experiences of immigration, love, rejection, isolation, identity, failure and ultimately resilience and their commitment to each other and their work.
