Art Athina 2024

Zappeion Mansion, 19 - 23 September 2024
Enari Gallery is delighted to participate in Art Athina 2024. One of the oldest art fairs in Europe, Art Athina has been active since its establishment by the Hellenic Art Galleries Association in 1993. Its strong institutional presence is realized today by the art fair itself, hosting Greek and international galleries, and its multidisciplinary parallel activities and programming. The booth presentation features work by Raffael BaderDouglas Cantor, and Ionanna Limniou.

Raffael Bader
(1987. DE) is a Leipzig-based artist who creates abstract paintings influenced by his global travels and inspired by nature's colours, shapes, and tensions. He works intuitively with oil paint, pencils, and varied textures, embracing imperfection to evoke personal resonance and a sense of evolving reality.

Douglas Cantor
(1989, CO) explores the complexities of diaspora identity and cultural transformation through his personal experience as a Latino immigrant in the UK. His works reflect themes of fragmentation, belonging, and emotional reconciliation, portraying both the challenges and idealizations of immigrant life while intertwining personal symbolism.

Ioanna Limniou (1987, GR) combines classical figurative and still-life imagery with an expressionistic aesthetic, using oils, crayons, and watercolor pencils to evoke a sense of memory. Her paintings explore human and animal perception, portraying the delicate interplay of existence, where nostalgia, humor, and daily rituals harmonize. Seamlessly weaving historical and contemporary contexts, her art creates a timeless space.
