For the first time on Dutch soil: the work of David Benjamin Sherry. As a queer person, Sherry is interested in questioning the Western history of landscape photography. He realized that the American history of landscape photography is dominated by a white, macho, straight male culture. He tries to create a mystical, abstract world with his photos. The size and colors of his work ask the visitor to empathize with the vulnerability of natural monuments.
